    Can't post here

There are a couple of people that I've been trying to help out, and they probably won't see this... Brazz1 and asac, but I cannot post on their threads or in their private messages. I get an 'Access Denied - Sucuri Website Firewall' message and it will not let me open a support ticket either. Maybe and admin will see this and help me out. Sorry guys but I've been trying..

This will be to do with what you are trying to post. If there is anything that can be interpreted as HTML code in your post, Sucuri will reject it.Similarly, f you need to use < or > put spaces either side of it.

    Thanks Ali,

There's nothing in my post that resembles HTML.. no greater than or less than signs. Nothing but alphabet characters, a period, and a couple single quote marks (maybe that's it). I tried showing you it here too but when I do that I still get the error. I will remove the single quotes and go through it again when I have a little more time. Thank you! I did not know that.

There is nothing in your SS, that I can see, that would cause any problems. Have you tried TIO TIO? Turn it off, turn it on? Close the Ef and re-open again...

The screenshot you posted shows that the text is in a .txt file. You can just attach the .txt file here and I can troubleshoot the text (I'm not going to type it all in from a screenshot).

    Re: Can't post here

The error message is for SQL injection. I don't see anything that looks remotely like SQL except the word "Select". I put the code in code tags but that did not solve it. When I broke up the word "select" in your text, I got rid of the error. I have no idea why that would be prohibited.

This is a very difficult situation when you start involving API's that change values of a cell that changes the result of a formula, then have code that will run only when the formula cell changes. I don't think I, or anybody will be able to figure this out without actually having a sample workbook that works on their computer with whatever API's you are using. I don't know how your workbook is set up so I don't really know what to do to make this work. Every time I come up with a solution you add something I didn't know about.. which I'm not upset about that, I used to do it too many years ago when I was the one asking questions because I didn't think the details mattered and I'd figure it out.. lol.. but sometimes they do matter.

Just in case this works, you can try adding this line of code to the worksheet change event:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
so you end up with this in that worksheet's module:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
That's going to sel ect whatever cell is the last cell that changes though when any code runs and effects any changing cells, whether you want it to or not..

Sorry I couldn't help more, but I don't know what else to do without having a sample workbook that I can work with. I'm not getting my hopes up, but let me know if that little fix works!

Ok, thanks everyone! That's awfully strange though. Of all the thousands of Excel posts that have been posted here and the word 'select' had of been used hundreds of times. It works fine here though.. lol

Thanks everyone! That's good to know if this happens to me again.

Well, I have an idea, but Sicuri is pretty stupid if is just blindly rejects the word "select" regardless of context.

The word "Select" often appears in SQL statements and I wonder if Securi sometimes interprets that depending upon it location in a sentence to be "offensive."

    Last try:

That's going to select whatever cell is the last cell that changes though when any code runs and effects any changing cells, whether you want it to or not..

    Re: Can't post here

Well that one worked too, but just so you know, I posted the entire reply from the text file I had saved and it didn't work.. but it works fine if I posted the whole thing but changed the problem sentence to:

Whatever cell is the last cell to change will be selected though when any code runs that causes cells to change, whether you want it to or not..

it worked fine (I posted it in the original post I was trying to post in, that's how I know)

Very strange.. I guess it was the exact combination of whatever became before and/or after that sentence before I changed it.
Still, a lesson learned if it happens again.
