This discussion has gone from basic "how do I create a scatter chart in Excel" into something more about immunology/molecular biology/biochemistry, none of which are my field of expertise. I seem to recall that one or two of you here may have experience in these fields, and, hopefully, may be better able to provide information about how the experiment should go and how the data from the experiments would be analyzed.

I think I could handle the spreadsheet programming side of this question, but I just cannot quite understand what the raw data from the experiment should look like, so I cannot really advise on how to go from running the experiment to know what data the experiment should generate. If any of those fields seem familiar to you, have a look and see if you can help better than I can.

This user is bringing data into Excel with Power Query, and then needs a simple subtraction/duration calculation performed. I was wondering if it would be easier to perform the subtraction/duration calculation as part of the Power Query import process rather than do it with spreadsheet formulas after the import: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...ml#post5497027

OP's workbook is crashing

OP's spreadsheet is crashing after implementing an Arrayed Formula (Excel 2007). There's not a lot of data so I don't think it should crash. Can someone with IT knowledge take a look at this?

Bebo - this is NOT what this thread is for. You posted your query only three minutes before posting here. This thread is for when someone has worked to try to help an OP over a protracted period of time, but hit a roadblock and is calling for someone else to have a look.

Please don't misuse this thread again.

The scroll bar is positioned in cells J1:AD1 and should cause the sheet to reposition by the weeks shown in row 9.

LOTUS 123 conversion to Excel

Anyone on here familiar with Lotus 123 files, functions and formulae?

In this thread, there is a requirement to convert a couple of files from Lotus 123 to Excel. i can get them into Excel, via LibreOffice, but there are formulae and functions that are not familar to me. They produce #NAME? errors.

Can anyone shed any light, convert them

This OP wants to Custom format for days hours, minutes and seconds. Trouble is sometimes the desired days output is larger than the 31 day limit.

I have not been able to come up with anything that does not create a concatenated string ...

Any ideas?

OP could use some VBA help here please...
https://www.excelforum.com/excel-new...ml#post5556749
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: Call in the Cavalry - 2021

OP states their original post disappeared and they are having difficulty uploading. I can see his post fine and his file downloads at my end.

He may just need assurance from others (and maybe a trained eye to critique his request since I don't do VBA).

Dave - he says he would prefer formulae, NOT VBA!

Re: Call in the Cavalry - 2021

There is a piece of code that runs fine and loops through several files, but on occasions fails to execute saving a particular file. It is beyond my skills to help further as vba is not really my thing. does anyone else have some suggestions

Re: Call in the Cavalry - 2021

This thread probably needs VBA expertise of which I have none.
The OP would like to put 60k names into selectable sized groups based on one, two or three criteria (i.e. City and/or Subject and/or Priority).

Re: Call in the Cavalry - 2021

This OP is getting duplicate counts where he says they aren't. I suspect it has to do with "**" embedded in the literal strings that COUNTIFS is treating as wildcards. I seem to recall there is a way to deal with these but do not recall what it is beyond requiring leading "~".

Any ideas? https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...ml#post5581229

Is there a new Sticky for 'Call in the Cavalry' page for 2022?

If you know of one please post the link.
