This discussion has gone from basic "how do I create a scatter chart in Excel" into something more about immunology/molecular biology/biochemistry, none of which are my field of expertise. I seem to recall that one or two of you here may have experience in these fields, and, hopefully, may be better able to provide information about how the experiment should go and how the data from the experiments would be analyzed.
I think I could handle the spreadsheet programming side of this question, but I just cannot quite understand what the raw data from the experiment should look like, so I cannot really advise on how to go from running the experiment to know what data the experiment should generate. If any of those fields seem familiar to you, have a look and see if you can help better than I can.

I'm not that familiar with pivot tables. This user has combined a couple of different sources into a pivot table and is having trouble getting something from the resulting pivot chart: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-cha...ml#post5492114
Perhaps someone can jump in and help.
I don't think this is possible without VBA but feel free to prove me wrong. Looking for a conditional conditional formatting.

This user is bringing data into Excel with Power Query, and then needs a simple subtraction/duration calculation performed. I was wondering if it would be easier to perform the subtraction/duration calculation as part of the Power Query import process rather than do it with spreadsheet formulas after the import: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...ml#post5497027
I can't get my head around what the OP is asking for here: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...g-pincode.html
OP's spreadsheet is crashing after implementing an Arrayed Formula (Excel 2007). There's not a lot of data so I don't think it should crash. Can someone with IT knowledge take a look at this?

Really need VBA helpers. It can be solved quickly with formula, but the OP hope to get VBA solution for large database.

Need VBA here, now, it seems (the OP has just mentioned that he wants a VBA solution!!!
I still have NO CLUE what the process is that he wants to automate - can anyone work out what washing and sweeping are???

A FILTER() function that sometimes returns a Spill error that I cannot debug: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...ml#post5502595
This OP has presented an issue that is above my ability to solve. VBA is the means as it involves .interior.colorindex over four different ranges that need to be compiled.
https://www.excelforum.com/excel-pro...ls-pt-2-a.html
This link is my own question: How to merge cells without losing data? In file attached, cells inside merged range seem not to be deleted!

Bebo - this is NOT what this thread is for. You posted your query only three minutes before posting here. This thread is for when someone has worked to try to help an OP over a protracted period of time, but hit a roadblock and is calling for someone else to have a look.
Please don't misuse this thread again.

Could someone whom is familiar with dynamic array formulas please take a look at the question about whether or not the formulas in post #6 will automatically fill down (I think that is called spill).

Could someone whom is familiar with horizontal scroll bars take a look at the file in post #7 of https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...ml#post5517645
The scroll bar is positioned in cells J1:AD1 and should cause the sheet to reposition by the weeks shown in row 9.
I have attempted to address the rest of the request.
Could someone chip in here: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...ment-date.html

I solved the initial question but my solution to the follow up (post 8) would be very long. I think one of you formula geniuses can come up with something shorter.
Anyone able to finish this one, please?

Anyone on here familiar with Lotus 123 files, functions and formulae?
In this thread, there is a requirement to convert a couple of files from Lotus 123 to Excel. i can get them into Excel, via LibreOffice, but there are formulae and functions that are not familar to me. They produce #NAME? errors.
Can anyone shed any light, convert them

OP would like to know if, when a new row is inserted into an Excel table, VBA could copy formulas into the new row and then sort the table based on those formulas.
Is anyone able to cut to the chase in this thread? Maybe I am being exceptionally dense this morning, but I cannot work out exactly what the OP is asking for.

Need help from forum experts.. please take a look at the thread below:
https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...ml#post5552183
Thank you.
This OP wants to Custom format for days hours, minutes and seconds. Trouble is sometimes the desired days output is larger than the 31 day limit.
I have not been able to come up with anything that does not create a concatenated string ...
Any ideas?
The OP here https://www.excelforum.com/excel-cha...ml#post5555282 is requesting detailed instructions for formatting a data series. Since I am not familiar with the O365 UI, I am wondering if it would be helpful for someone more familiar with the O365 UI could help with the details of finding the options for formatting a data series in a chart.
The OP here https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...ml#post5555444 says he wants to use checkboxes or similar to determine what points should be shown in a chart. Since I don't use those kinds of "controls", I cannot help much.
OP could use some VBA help here please...

OP states their original post disappeared and they are having difficulty uploading. I can see his post fine and his file downloads at my end.
He may just need assurance from others (and maybe a trained eye to critique his request since I don't do VBA).
Dave - he says he would prefer formulae, NOT VBA!
Thanks Ali. I must have missed that.
OP needs a tweak to his VBA code.

The OP would like to put 60k names into selectable sized groups based on one, two or three criteria (i.e. City and/or Subject and/or Priority).
https://www.excelforum.com/excel-pro...ml#post5580234
This OP is getting duplicate counts where he says they aren't. I suspect it has to do with "**" embedded in the literal strings that COUNTIFS is treating as wildcards. I seem to recall there is a way to deal with these but do not recall what it is beyond requiring leading "~".
Any ideas? https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...ml#post5581229
Any members want to take a crap at this 1? I had, in error, initially closed this a password cracking, but I have now opened the thread - please help the OP.
