Problems with " Groups" on the forum

following a link provided by a member, I arrived in the "Group" page. https://www.excelforum.com/groups/
1.It seems to be full of spam?
2. Is there any way I can subscribe to an item of a group (in particular https://www.excelforum.com/groups/ma...nd-errors.html is interesting) ?

I never look at them. Seems none of the mods and admins do.

So at least 2 groups don't use groups.
