    Home Office Monitor Setup Advice

    Hi all,

Given that it looks as though I'm now basically a home worker, I'm looking into upping my home office game (as in my monitor setup). I've always just used my laptop screen (14 inch), even when in the office with the ability to plug in to a larger monitor (the glare wrecked my eyes). I was working on something today though and was thinking to myself that it would be far easier if I had a larger screen. Dr Google informs me that the most common options are a single widescreen monitor or a dual monitor setup. My workload is predominantly Excel based and I'd be interested to learn what others find is a useful/optimal setup. All advice is gratefully received, but the two main conundrums I'm bouncing round in my head are single or multi monitor and wall mounted or a stand?

Thanks in advance and have a good weekend all,

    Snook

I have two widescreen monitors (34" and 27") but if I had to choose between one large or two slightly smaller monitors, I'd go for multiple monitors every time, especially with current versions of Excel.

I have 2 24" monitors and have worked this way for years - I find it limiting now when I need to go back to a single monitor.
ATM I have excel in 1 monitor, and the forum on the other.

I have two monitors at work, but I'm the kind of person who likes everything to be compact, so I only use one. But if you can focus on 2, then by all means take 2!
