Help deleting a thread (Moderators)

The Moderators rarely, if ever, delete threads. Your best bet is to create your new thread, write a closing post in the original thread, mark the original thread as solved, and provide a link in the new thread to the original thread. That should tie up loose ends and leave the original there for background (even if there is some confusion).
