    a message for 6StringJazzer

    Good British evening Sir

In your bio you mention a tool to analyse projects, would that file be available to the public by chance

    Regards Peter
One I have learnt over the last few months, " You are NEVER too old to learn ".
Sometimes I forget to say " Thank You " for your assistance, so here I say " A BIG Thank You. "

Peter - this is the sort of message that SHOULD be sent via private message.

    Re: a message for 6StringJazzer

    Rules of thumb:

    1. Anything related to an existing thread should be in the thread, and not taken to PM.
    2. PM should be used for private questions only (such as this one), however ...
    3. If a member feels that you are abusing the PM system (overusing it or using it in the wrong way), then they have every right to ask you to desist (or, if they are unsuccessful, to report you for misusing it).

It's all about balance. Too many PMs, even ones that are justifiably private messages, can become harassment.
