Condolences on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II

I stopped by to see if there was a post about the passing of the Queen and not seeing one I thought I'd start one.

My most sincere condolences to our British friends on the passing of the Queen. I saw on wikipedia that she had been the Queen longer than I have been alive.
I hope that you know that, this American has never had a negative thought about her and from what I've known of her, I believe she kept honor, grace and dignity in the position she held for so long. I hope that Charles is able to fill the position of King with the grace and dignity she brought to it.

Sam, thank you. I believe she was queen for longer than most of us have been alive. There are probably very few living today that were around to see King George VI on the throne (let alone King Edward VIII or King George V)

Definitely the end of an era. But I doubt Charles will be on the throne for more than a few years before he steps down.
