Forum unreachable from some U.S. IPs

I have been unable to reach the Forum since Saturday 1400 GMT (8:00 AM EDT). I get Gateway Error 502, which is an inability of an intermediate server, usually a proxy, to reach the web server. This seems to be geographic in nature since users outside the U.S. are not reporting a problem, and only some North American users get it. I am able to reach the forum using a VPN.

As of this post this problem has persisted for over 72 hours. I reported it to the tech team Saturday morning. They reported it resolved early Sunday but it was not resolved.

I was using a US proxy yesterday and got the bad gateway error. First time I've noticed it. No issue from a UK IP.

No - I've had no issues here (in the UK). We think it is just North America that's affected.

I still can't reach it from Virginia but I am posting this using a VPN server hosted in Los Angeles.

I am using a free VPN that doesn't allow me to choose specific server sites so I can't try to map out the affected area.

Seems to be resolved to me (VPN).

Yes, it was resolved a couple of days ago, although no word on what exactly was wrong or how they fixed it.
