Anyone use T mobile broadband in UK?

Hi All

I'm currently looking at some mobile broadband contracts, and specifically one from T mobile which carries a 3Gb monthly download limit for an 18month contract at £7.50 for first 10 months and remaining 8 months at £15. The financial cost is reasonable, but I wondered if anyone could tell me how they find T mobile. Are download speeds good? Connection reliable?

I only intend using it on my daily commute (on a train) - it wouldn't be a fixed line replacement.

I use Tmobile for telephony - not that impressed with coverage/reception but that could be down to the phone (samsung d900)

Thanks Ed. I originally looked at the iPhone, but came down against it because of the cost and because, frankly, I'd rather get a netbook computer and a mobile broadband deal (it would be cheaper!) and have Excel available (I spend 90% of my time on the internet on Excel forums). I am loathe in the current economic climate to agree to any lengthy contract - especially one where the coverage might not be suitable for what I want.

Im with O2 for my mobile and broadband, no download limit (fair useage of course), 8meg depending on conditions i usually hit around 4 £7.50/month (home) and around £15 for combined home/mobile broadband if you have an O2 contract mobile, has been very reliable no groans yet.
