Someone's e-mailed me a workbook, now I've managed to find it a couple of places on the web - you can download it here.

Apparently, it's some kind of IQ test in use in Japan, and it's reckoned that the average IT candidate can do it 15 miniutes. Any takers?

PS It makes a popping sound when you move any of the characters - if you're supposed to be working, you may want to turn the sound down on your PC.

    Hello Dominic,

The link opens but nothing downloads. Is that part of the test too?

Don';t know what you mean. I've just tried it on IE6 and FireFox - FireFox would only open it from the link, not save it as a file, but other than that, no problems.
    What browser are you using?
    Anyone else had any problems?

    I'm glad I don't work in IT!

I tried a reboot that didn't solve it.
    Hope that helps.

I find it interesting that the instructions are in Chinese, the summary says it was developed in Japan, and the sheet name is in Spanish. Did anyone else notice?

I am not sure OC. Couldn't read the Chinese. Was a fun test, though. If the takes someone fifteen minutes to solve, they should probably switch careers.
