    Congratulations Colin_L

It has been brought to my attention today that Colin_L was awarded MS MVP title on 1st July 2009 ... Colin is well known in the XL Community - he is perhaps better known to those who frequent xtremevbtalk where is he a Moderator though he is also a significant poster both here and at MrExcel.com - regardless of where he posts his contributions are always worthy of study and his style always friendly.

I trust you will all join me in congratulating Colin on this tremendous achievement - as he joins the likes of Andy Pope, Ron Coderre, Bob Phillips, Richard Schollar, romperstomper etc in becoming one of the 100 or so MS Excel MVP Awardees across the globe !

(He is also a very nice bloke - despite the beard)

Although he will need to work on his drinking skills.

Maybe the beard is disconcerting in his case because of the moobs...

(it will be a few days before he sees that so I reckon I'll get away with it!)

It could be too late. Looks like the beard is no more.

Or is that a very old photo?

lol... it is an old photo (a couple of years old).

Given the overwhelming interest in my beard's status, I feel obliged to sadly report that an accident with the beard clippers last weekend has resulted in a new, clean-shaven look - so the "old" photo is fairly accurate less a few gray hairs.

In case you're wondering - no, a "beard combover" to try to hide said accident was absolutely not an option!

    Congrats (again) Colin.
I suggest regular weekly drinking practice should begin immediately (first round on you again) with Mr. S et al.
