amsanborn, this is a big topic. You may want to google terms like "new in Excel 2007" or the like, to get an overview about the changes. There's really too much to put into a single post. I mean, people have written books about it, and other people acutally buy them
On the other hand, there is a lot of free information on the web, especially if you search for the things that you are interested in. If you work with charts a lot, I suggest you take a look at www.peltiertech.com and the blog from Jon Peltier. Debrah Dalgliesh also has a lot of useful stuff on her site www.contextures.com. Pointy-Haired-Dilbert over at www.chandoo.org has many Excel 2007 tips, too. Of course, there's always the Microsoft site, for example http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...738731033.aspx

hi,
Can Amsanborn access the WaterCooler to read this thread?

Rob, I think that any newb can access the Water Cooler these days. They just need to register. It's no longer an old boy's club
I've seen new member place their first post in in the Water Cooler, so I think the access (i.e. posting) limit has been removed. Anybody could always read it, anyway, but these days, anybody seems to be able to post, too.
If this is something you'd like to see changed, just PM Vai. I'm sure this little functionality change will be amended in no time.
HahahahaHAHAHA!!

ROFLOL!
Ahh, the good ol' days, in fact...
It was DominicB who gave me access to the WaterCooler - at the same time as you Teylyn!
(if you keep your pm's, check out one from DominicB dated 18/11/2008 23:46:00)
No, I don't really have a preference for or against general access, although the "Bad Threads" could definitely be awareness raising for some new members ;-)
