That's the plan. Me and the lads to Chamonix in March for a spot of skiing and boarding and hopefully another week away somewhere nice before then.
I get 39 days including public holidays

Dom, don't know if it's an consolation for you, but in NZ we currently have crackling cold winter weather, nothing to do for the kids during the 2-week school hols, me dodging off to work to avoid the ensuing family crisis. One good reason to go to work.
No prospect of any stat hols until end of October (Labour Day in NZ). Last stat hol was Q's Birthday, although everyone in NZ knows she was not born on the first Monday in June
Work is actually quite busy, tax returns had to be done by everyone and their uncle last week.
I could actually DO WITH A WEEK IN TURKEY!!!! Or Fiji, for that matter. Much faster to get to.
oh i forgot i get 40.5 including bank hols yippee(not to mention the other 20 odd rota days off so i wont mention that then!)
I've just got back from a few days in France and my method for easing back into things is to come into the office, click the button that does all my jobs, then surf the internet for a few hours before going for lunch. After that it's time to go home.

Romper, I have a spreadsheet with a button. Can I send it to you to set it up? The idea is, you can do the VBA, and the button does all my work? You seem to have some experience.
Now I know where you find the time to be online so much.
Note to self: research "buttons".
Teylyn - as it's your winter I'm not too sympathetic. I look forward to the winter as much as the summer and if I had to make a choice between the two the winter holidays are still preferable.
Today is actually much better than yesterday work wise (doing more than just staring at the screen) although I did find out that my planned trip to Canada next June might not be going ahead which has put the dampeners on my mood no end.

Ah, well, there's the problem. My job stack consists of a heap of cr@p and badly worded prose and my job is to make fascinating, compelling copy from that, fit for consumption by the "general public".
Word-crunching, rather than number-crunching. So, I guess it's a no-go, unless VBA is capable of spell-checking, sanity-checking, grammar-checking, suitable-image-finding, down-dumbing, Joe-Bloggs-i-fying highly technical, acronym- and jargon-ridden content.
Maybe in the next life.
nope it's definately private!
