The wife and I are taking our 2 3/4 year old to DisneyWorld in Florida next week. I have never been.
Wondered if any of you have gone and have any general tips or must sees, etc... any money-saving tips would also be nice.. it's going to hurt the pocket quite a bit, I know.
I am staying at a resort outside of the main park property but close enough to everything around.

I live in the area and have taken my kids a number of times. One important thing is not to wear out your kid. I've seen so many people destroying the experience by pushing their littel ones too much. Take a break in teh middle of the day to give you and your kiddo a rest.
I would definately take in the Magic Kingdom rides for the little one (Dumbo, Small World, Tiki Birds etc.).
Epcot is not well suited for little kids, but you and your wife would like it. Plan a dinner there at one of the international restaurants. Your pick on the type of food.
I would pick Animal Kingdom for your kid rather than MGM Studios.

I am going for 6 full days.
For sure I will do Animal Kingdom.. as my son is into animals.. he also loves dinosaurs.. and I know they have Dinoland within.
We were also going to do SeaWorld for him.
We were thinking of maybe 3 days of actual DisneyWorld and 1 or 2 days at SeaWorld.
Then 1 day or so just doing other things.. shopping for the wife, seeing other attractions...
