    Marking Threads as Solved

I've been informed that it's impolite to leave a solved thread open, but I have a problem; often my thread is solved (or I give up) long after my original post. On those, when I try to go back and edit my original post to mark it as solved, I no longer have the ability to edit it. How can I go and mark these threads "solved"?

    Thanks in advance,

    John

PM a moderator and they can mark your uneditable post to "solved" for you.

Aah, I didn't see that part. I've sent a PM to one of the mods, so hopefully I can get these knocked out quickly, and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do that again.

    Thanks for the direction.

I'm working one of the mods (Leith Ross) to mark my older posts. Thanks for all the help.
