    VBA Training

Hi Guys hows it going, hope one and all are well.

I would like to book myself some VBA training and work have kindly offered to foot the bill -I was thinking along the lines of a two day course.

Before I start googling "VBA Training Courses London", I thought I would post here to see if anyone can recommend a particular trainer/course.

Zbor - traveling to Croatia is not an option although I would love to see your BBQ in action!!

    Cheers guys

As far as I know they charge nothing for spending their time to this forum; so if they save time improving your knowledge so they won't have to answer your questions anymore (or even that you respond to forum questions they would otherwise have been bothered with) why would they charge you ?

I believe RomperStomper charges in beer/wine/spirits for his personal consultations and that they can end up being very expensive

It's a negative spiral - the more you spend, the less useful the teaching becomes...

For a whole day course, I'd have to charge you what my company pays me. £25 a day ok?

Also, if you time it right, you could get Andy, Colin, DDL and Richard S thrown in for free...

Any budding law students out there???.....Is this binding?

I too love a good session, but being married with kids seems to have put a stop to all that! The trouble then is - once a year when I do go out with the chaps i'm normally plastered by 10pm and doing the funky chicken to ABBA! I've turned into a lightweight!

So, see you at 9am sharp o/s tower hill tube, i'll have £25 and some fine Bourbon!

Well, I just found out a couple of days ago that there are only 8 of us Excel MVPs in all of Canada currently... and I got to meet another famous one on the same day...none other than Ms. Pivot Tables and Data Validation, Debra Dalgleish. A great lady.... I have tried to meet with the other Ontario MVP, Domenic, but no success as of yet..... Maybe we could get our own little round table at the closest bar too

I've never been drunk, so can't contribute much to that. And the only time I went to Vegas was with my wife, so not too out of hand.

    Re: VBA Training

Unfortunately, we don't have a closest bar, unless you include a bar in Thunder Bay! I am surprised that there are only 8 Excel MVPs in Canada, out of 35 million people. Especially considering that Excel is used by many businesses. To add to that, there are no advanced type of courses available for VBA training, at least none that I am aware of. My work put me through an internal Excel course last year but it had nothing to do with VBA and when I asked the instructor about VBA, he said his focus was mainly spreadsheets and that recording macros is the best way to write code. Oh well!
