    Excel UK Developer Conference

The forum seems to have a banner heading advertising the above conference.

The words look surprisingly familiar, but I didn't do that. Can I sue?

Last time there was a User Group Conference that I got wind of back in 2009 they paid for travel, hotels and gave me the time off. Times have changed a lot since then. To be honest even is they'd give me the time off I doubt I could justify the cost.

You can always explain your boss that you spend lot of working time giving people excel solutions for free therefore need to cover expenses

Yeah, but you sat all quietly at the back rather than coming and shouting at us. That is just not normal Excel behaviour

Love the band link, trouble is the poor winners have to support McFly

I quite liked 'Ladies Love A Superhero' until the vocalist started, his voice wasn't up to it. I've got a lot of work now listenng to a few (dozen) more.

    Re: Excel UK Developer Conference

Alas not. I went to the one a couple of years back organised by Nick Hodge who runs excelusergroup.org down at Microsoft UK in London. It was a good couple of days with the likes of Nick, Bob, Andy Pope, and Roger Govier presenting. I almost didn't feel totally out of my depth either which quite surprised me. Would have really like to have attended but it would have been an expensive trip with travel and hotels and work wouldn't cough up this time in these times of austerity. Another time hopefully.
