    How to remove scrollbars?

Recently all postings in the forum have got scrollbars. For code parts I’m ok with them but when I’m reading a post I find this a nuance. Is there a setting I can use to get rid of these?

Alf, do you have an example that you can provide here? Maybe a link to a thread? I am not seeing any scroll bars currently.

    Also, are you using IE8?

    Hi Arlette

Yes I'm using IE8 and I got the scrollbars some days ago when I was browsing the forum. There was a quick flash of text don't remember exactly what something like "updating to ???" and after I got scrollbars but only in the Excel help forum. No problems with Mr. Excel or Ozgrid forums.

At the moment I'm don't seem to be able to upload any picture. Will try to upload picture again a bit later.

I don't see scroll bars, but text is wrapped at about half the window width. IE8.

    Hi shg

We seem to be “brothers in misfortune”. Did your troubles also start sometime during this week?

I've also seems to have lost all icons when I "Go Advanced"????
Correction icons is still there but have lost all color so they tend to blend into the background. If I hover with mouse pointer over an icon I can “see” an explanation of the icon. See gif hover

    What I’ve tested so far:
Entering the forum as a guest: I still get scrollbars on all posts.

Switching from “Quick reply” to “Go Advanced” and back again brings up the icons in “Quick Reply” but trying “Go Advanced” again does not have any effect i.e. the icons in “Go Advanced” is still without color.

Running CCleaner has not had any effect.

Next step will probably be trying to reinstall IE8 and if this doesn’t help then I’ll try switch browser to Google Chrome.

Ps I did not know that acronym so I had to google. Most appropriate!

    Re: How to remove scrollbars?

The text is wrapped because each post now contains an empty placeholder for ads. I saw these ads briefly a few days ago. See

They disappeared after a few minutes, but the placeholders remain. I guess we're in for some changes soon.
