just unanswered threads from the side bar
yes, I did that, and selected "yesterday" - it gave me 35 threads, all on 1 page?
This is something that "Happens" when a thread is deleted or moved by admin, it isn't exclusive to unanswered threads.
I have pointed this out before and the answer I get back is "Increase the posts viewed per page in your User CP"
This doesn't cure the problem, it merely masks it. I am currently set for 40 p/p. This has grown in steps from the default 20.
It has to be connected to the post index having a missing number when posts are deleted/moved, but the "Tech team" says no.
Hmm?
I seem to have jumped the gun on this ...
I'm set to 40p/p and i can only see Results 1 to 22 of 27 with no buttons to take me to the next page.
there are 62 unanswered posts since 17/7 according to top menu selector(and a total of 9949!) of but only 21 from side bar
Martin,
When you click on the unanswered threads option in the side bar - check the query criteria at the top of the page - i just ran it now and it says " Type: Posts; Date is After 07-21-2013; At Most 0 replies; Excluded Forums: The Water Cooler, Offenders List, Suggestions for Improvement, Hello..Introduce yourself." and i got 29 posts. So it considers the default as from the previous day onwards.
If i run the same using this parameter ("Yesterday") from the menu bar at the top, i get the same 29 threads and this criteria - "Type: Posts; Date is After 07-21-2013; At Most 0 replies; Excluded Forums: The Water Cooler, Offenders List, Suggestions for Improvement, Hello..Introduce yourself."
If I have helped, Don't forget to add to my reputation (click on the star below the post)
Don't forget to mark threads as "Solved" (Thread Tools->Mark thread as Solved)
Use code tags when posting your VBA code:
Your code here
@Martin: I learned a long time ago that you only have to bang your head against a wall for so long before you knock yourself out. When you come around and get up, it's best to just accept that it hurt and walk away from the wall.
You have highlighted a potential issue and argued your point, apparently to no avail. I would suggest that you answer the questions that you can see, and that you want to. Don't waste any more time
Walk away from the wall ...
