What to do when there is no response to your answer.

Since somebody posted a thread “What to do when there is no answer to your questions which might not get attention”

I do wonder what action to take if there is no response to your answer.

Should one put the OP on the “Never help again” list?

Send a PM and ask for feedback?

    Or just forget about it?

Frustrating isn't it - you write a sweet little routine and even test it with, perhaps a made-up sample - then you post it expecting some kind of kudo, and you never hear from them again.

I look at it that if they dont ever reply, then my suggestion worked for them - else they would have come back.

Sure the lack of thanks does show a lack of manners, but hey, it takes all kinds. Chalk it up to experience and move on More often than not, the thanks you do get, more than make up for the 1's you dont

    It certainly is!!!!!

Absolutely but this is a subject that will pop up time and time again in the forum.

That is really true! I'll think of that in the future!

Having had my grumble I'll just mark this thread as solved.

To add to it, if I post an answer or suggestion, as a n00b, I appreciate the feedback doubly so! Esle I don't grow...
