go to your Control Panel (via User CP or Settings), it may be that you need a certain number of posts to alter the settings. http://www.excelforum.com/faq.php?fa...atures_avatars may help as well.

I have read the link you sent me and it seems that an Administrator needs to unlock permission for me to use a picture for myself...
I wonder how I ask an Administrator for access to this basic request???
Welcome to the forum.
You need to wait(a little-i hope) until to count 100 posts. Then you'll be able to have your own Avatar!
