We have some sort of filter that aggressively monitors for HTML injection. (I don't know why HTML injection is a danger.) It is overzealous because it will sometimes identify the "less than" character as an HTML symbol, which is a problem since it so often appears in Excel formulas.
I have not been able to identify a set of rules for exactly what is allowed and what is not. It allows me to post this formula:
Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
but other similar formulas have been flagged.
One workaround is to highlight the "<" character and then apply a text color. It will surround the character with [COLOR] codes, which seems to make the filter happy.
Fantastic, that solved it!!
Thanks a million :-)
