Can't print a WORD document after an externa update

Dear members,

Since last week I am not able to print a WORD document anymore.

I never had problems with printing the document earlier.

Original it is a WORD 2003 document (and I know there is no MS support on this version).

I used save as to save the file as an WORD (2013) document.

But then also I am not able to print.

It allowes me to select the printer and give the task to print.

After that I get the failure WORD is not responding.

Unfortually it is not just 1 file.

P.s. excel files are printed fine, I only have problems with the WORD files.

What other option can I try to solve this annoying problem?

I use WORD 2013 professional.

I tried printing without opening the file; in that case it will print the document (each one).

I tried after that opening the file and print the document and I get the failure WORD is not responding.

After that I tried 4 word documents on a Office 2010 (computer).

There I was able to open and print 3 of the documents / the 4th does open, but does NOT print.

Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change)?

With your 4th document, have you checked whether the content is formatted as hidden text?

I today reinstalled ms office again.

I will let you know if it has repaired the problem.

Reinstalled did NOT solve the problem.
