    How do I copy a Multi page excel table to word that automatcally makes headers on eachpage

    I need to paste an excel table into a word document that will automatically generate a header on each page. This table is about 150 pages long on an 8.5 x 11 word page. I also need it to link back to the excel file so when edited, the edits update in the word file.

    When I try pasting it, it only pastes to one page. So I need to 1) learn how to paste a file so that it carries over to multiple pages (instead of just one page) AND, get the header at the top of each page.

    An Excel object pasted into Word cannot span a page break; you would have to use one of the other paste formats. However, Word's 'header row repeat' function does not apply to tables linked to Excel.

    IMHO, trying to produce a 150-page table in Word is ridiculous; the impact of such a large table in a Word document, especially when linking is involved, will make molasses running down the face of a glacier seem fast by comparison.

    That would explain why I can't get it to work. Lol

    So, how would I do this? I need to publish a list from excel that will be turned into a PDF.

    So why not save it to PDF directly from Excel, via Save As or, alternatively, use a PDF 'printer' to print it to a file with the required header(s)?
