    Numbered list button behavior

Sometimes when I use the "Numbering" -button under Paragraph i will get the numbered list that I want.
Other times it just gives me a new chapter with Heading 1.

    What am I missing here?

I want it to always produce a numbered list, I never want it to produce a new chapter.

    Re: Numbered list button behavior

I suspect you may be inadvertently clicking on the incorrect icon sometimes - they are close together and look similar.
Avoid it by adding only the icon you need to the quick access toolbar

    Re: Numbered list button behavior

Thanks! You are right. I found out myself and did just that actually.
Just now (as I'm typing!) I realized that the button I've been clicking is more than a button, it's dropdown menu as well. So just clicking it I assume gives you the command that was most recently used or something like that, hence the perceived erratic behavior. I am so smart.
