MS Word, Switch between 'Text' and 'Bookmark Name:'

    Hi guys,

In word documents "Fields" can be switched from 'Text' to and from their 'Formulas' by highlighting the field and pressing "Alt + F9"

within a word document, I am wondering if there is a similar way to switch bookmarks to and from their 'Text' to their 'Bookmark Name' within a Word document.

If not, does anyone have some code that can be made into a shortcut to do so?

    Thanks,
    Jimmy

There is no way to toggle the display between a bookmark's name and its content - programmatically or otherwise.

With fields, you don't need to select anything if you're using Alt-F9, as that toggles the display for all fields in a document. Shift-F9 can be used to toggle the display for selected fields.

Surely there must be a way using VBA to generate a two column table, first column with the text and the second column with the Bookmark Name!
It just seems like a massive oversight, surely it would be a tool you wouldn't need to use often but a good way to check that everything is as it should be.

hmmm.. I think I can work around it. but still

    thanks anyways
