Well....Good day to all of you.....i just was searching for a vba code to do the following;
1. While in the webbrowser when I try to Select a part of the text, I want that text to be Copied to a document file and saved with current system date and time. (I use MS Word 2007). Thank you all.....for your great job on this site....
Rather than trying to automate the browser to try to find out what has already been selected, you'd do better to simply copy it yourself, then run a macro like:

well i was actually not asking the browser to be automated.....think you got me wrongly...... actually what i am doing is....i log into a software of company which is a webbased browser first. 2. and while in there....... i see that want a part of the text in the file there...... and as soon as i select the part of the "text" using either mouse or by keyboard........ 3.. All i want is that particular "text" copied should be saved as a document file in a certain folder..along with date time. ..Hope I am clear now.....thanks for your response....
SINCE COPYING MANUALLY IS WHAT WE DO FOR AS OF NOW AND THERE ARE MORE THAN 6000 FILES WE DEAL WITH IT IN A DAY.....so it is not possible physically to copy every time...that is the reason we requested coding to this automatically.......i hope you get the point....
There is no mechanism for automatically generating a Word document simply from the mere fact you've selected something on a web page. In reality, this isn't even a Word question, since the only thing this has to do with Word is the format in which you want to save the selected content - and you don't really need to use Word for that.
macropod....this i actually need a ms word document opened and copied of the selected contents.......
correct me if i am wrong....... as soon as i select... a piece of text..... all i want is to copy to already opened blank MS word document and that needs to be saved with date and time.....hope i xplained it better..now.. thanks...for ur patience...and time...

You would have to do the copying manually, then switch to Word, where you could run a macro to paste the content into a currently-open document and save that with your filename specs.
