Did I break Word?
Does anyone know why I cant change the tab stops for "Normal" format but am able to else where? I don't know what has causes this to happen, but am worried about the stability of my document if things from styles go missing :/

It's not easy to diagnose issues from images - try attaching the .doc file.
Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
