Triple-clicking the end-of-cell marker selects the entire cell.

    Hey Mate.

    Hmmmm. that's cool.

Is there any keyboard shortcut though? (I'm used to using "Home" and "End" with Ctrl to get whole lines. I'm a bit slower on the tables

    Thanks!

There is no default shortcut for that. See: https://support.office.com/en-us/art...2-f762f663ceb2

You could, however, create one, via File|Options|Customize Ribbon>Keyboard Shortcuts:Customize>Categories:'Table Tools|Layout Tab'>Commands:TableSelectCell>Press new shortcut key.

You could also add the 'Select Cell' button to Word's QAT.
