Defaulting styles back to the settings within the template

    Hi guys,

I've done my best to try and make this as simple as possible. However it might just be a case of my mis-understanding.

I can't find the original forum with the question on it. But macropod gave me an answer that's made me think of another question (assuming I understood his/her answer correctly.) I was told me (not a direct quote, so if anything is wrong, it's my lack of understanding):
"A Style in a document will reflect the template's style automatically if Developer>Document Template>Automatically update document styles[On], however if within that document(based on the template) there has been a change to that style, then a change on that particular document."

Assuming that the above is correct, my question is:

If I have made a change within a document's style (which is also a style found in the template document), how can I default that particular style back, so that all changes made in the template document will be reflected within the document.

    Hope that makes sense.
    Thanks,
    Jimmy

I think you're referring to my reply here: https://www.excelforum.com/word-form...ml#post4723552, where my advice was rather different from

If you want to apply a Style change to the template, choose the 'New documents based on this template' option in the 'Modify Style' dialogue.
