How to auto fill in blanks

I thought I'd asked this before but I guess not, couldn't find it in my history.

I want to create an agreement form example below:

I want a popup(userform) to ask for user/input name. Use that input in the blank space and save as a file after clicking DONE/ENTER.
Will I need to code it in Words or Excel VBA or doen'st matter?

    Re: Agreement Form

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

    Re: Agreement Form

It's not apparent from your post why a userform would be needed. You could achieve much the same result, without the need for a userform and its attendant code, with a content control inserted at the appropriate point in the document, together with a suitably-coded ContentControlOnExit macro for the saving.

    Re: Agreement Form

Well, that was just an example. Eventually I will have that name fill in multiple places.

OK, here's what I'm up to.
I have a bat file with commands and with several same name(word).
currently I have to open/edit the file with find/replace manually.

I don't propose to play charades. If you want help with something, say exactly what it is instead of doling out the task piecemeal. Your latest post still doesn't contain anything that suggests a userform is needed and I can't see what your task-scheduler code has to do with Word.

Re: How to auto fill in blanks

I'm trying to get the basic help/command and work from there. I do not want the whole answer. I want a seed that I can plant without begging for more apples.

Ok, here's what I found and what i'm looking for except I want it to prompt/ask once.
in Words put cursor where to fill in the input from prompts.

    Quick Parts --> Field --> Field names: Fill-in --> Prompt: names/words

This works, but that mean I have to reply 50 times from 50 prompts if there are 50 field to fill.

    Hope that make sense.
Maybe I'm not using the correct term to ask, else I would have find my answer on google already. So, the closest I came across is what I mentioned above.

I was doing it in excel and save it as text, there's double quotes everywhere.

You beat me to it. I was just about to add here.
so I need to use ASK. He didn't really mention where to put the code. I tried pasting it here and there.

You don't need to use ASK, but you can if you want. The link offers multiple ways of achieving the same end. As for "He didn't really mention where to put the code", the topic gives a demo that you quoted...

Rubbish! You really should spend a little more time understanding how Office works. Just like in Excel, if you create a Word template, any document based on that template has access to all the functionality built into the template. Creating a new document based on a template is as simple as double-clicking on the template.
