Word 2010 doesn't support QR codes. Word 2013 & later do, however, without the need for VBA - simply use an appropriately-formatted DISPLAYBARCODE field.

hey macropod , im sorry to ask , but how i can use that?
i have a lot of links in one word file , i want to convert them all , do i have to do it each link separate
or there is a way to do it all at once
thanks a lot
Your profile says you're using Office 2010. As I said, though, Word 2010 doesn't support QR codes.
No im using 2016
Yes, but your profile (which you've now updated) said Office 2010. Since you're actually using Office 2016, see: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...ffice.12).aspx
Yes I updated 2010 to 2016 , i didnt noticed before , anyway the method you suggested for me i know about it i just need a little help to use it in a macro to apply it to all the links i have in the text automatically (VBA)
If that would happened it will be so great to do ...

yessss thanks a lot, you are life saver ...
hi macropod,
the shape of QR its not an image ,
it would be more better if its an image not just a shape i cant copy , if i paste it to an email or share it it goes back to codes !
can you help me to do it, im really thankful
The use of field coding is the only way Word creates QR barcodes. If you want, you could copy the barcode then paste it into your email using Paste Special the picture option (i.e. EMF - enhanced metafile).
using Paste Special the picture in email its not showing all the text,
i did try to add something , can i use ".Code.CopyAsPicture
.Code.PasteSpecial " and if so how to do it , i tried and i had blank result
I said you paste the QR field as a picture; I said nothing about doing that with text - you hadn't previously even mentioned that you were doing any copying/pasting of text. To replace the hyperlink in a QR barcode image is considerably more complex:

command failed"
I got this message on line ".CopyAsPicture"
Works for me...
Thanks macropod, you helped me , i’ll find out how to do it ...
