Hi, I'm looking for a simple way to convert weirdly coded displayed characters (e.g. ä, ü, ...) to proper displayed ones (?, ?, ...) within an opened word document.
My first guess was to make a macro with each character through the replacement function. But that would become a rather long list of characters for which to write out each replacement + would need to know which character is weirdly-code how (is there an overview list for this?). I would prefer a simpler and shorter version if that is possible?
Thank you for any help
