Formatting problem of excel in word

New to the forum. I have linked individual cells in an excel document into a word document. My problem is the excel information does not line up evenly with the text in word document. For example I have linked a dollar amount from excel to insert into the text of a letter. The dollar amount from excel is slightly higher on the line than the text before and after it. Could someone tell me how to make them match?

    Hi coriley
This may help you. If your links from your Excel to your Word document are in a table you can right click in that table and select Cell Alignment.
