    Words are duplicated in print-outs

    Hey folks,

When I print a document, some words are duplicated in the print-out even though there's no duplication in the .doc document.

This seems to happen at the ending and the start of lines (so the last word of a line will repeat at the start of the next line) and occurs randomly. Has anyone had the same problem? I can't figure out what's causing it at all...

    Thanks for any suggestions,

    AR

P.S. I posted this question at the MSOffice Forums but thought I'd try here also since replies seem to be pretty thin on the ground on Word related questions. If anyone could recommend another forum that would be great too. Thanks!

yeah it has happened to me in my college labs. The printers are dot-matrix, whenever they print they tend to mess up with the ending part, mainly the duplication and alignment. The best way to deal with it is to check your hardware. Change cartridges, or the ribbon and try again.
