Type text into a margin without starting new page?

    Hi,

    \1

I am trying to type text into the Amounts Payable box without starting a new page or reducing the margin at all.

Is this possible in any way?

    Thanks,

Put a text box without a border on top of it with your data

macronoob84: It appears you're trying to overlay a scanned image with some data. The simplest way to to this is to create a transparent table with columns & rows of fixed width and height that match the desired layout. You can then type your data into the various cells (or populate them via vba) without having to select/deselect (for typing) or engage in more convoluted referencing (vba).

xladept: I can't imagine what 'Application.EnableEvents=False' could possibly contribute to the solution.

The inference, by my interpretation, was that the act of typing into that field would trigger the events.

Setting 'Application.EnableEvents=False' wouldn't have any effect on that at all. Apart from anything else, there is no 'new page' event to trap.
