Table of contents in word document

Hi,

I am looking to create table of contents in Word document from Excel vba.

I have got the data for the TOC in a sheet.
For e.g. A1 has "Section 1 : XYZ"
A2 has "1.1. "ABC"

basis the above details I want to create a TOC in word document.

If you're using Word's heading Styles for your headings, it's as simple as adding a Table of Contents field. If you're not Word's heading Styles for your headings, you'll have a lot more work to do.

I have created the text for Table of contents in word document thru Excel vba now how do I convert the text into table of contents in word.

Please read my previous post. Since you haven't said whether you're using word's Heading Styles (which you probably should be using) and, indeed, you haven't provided any meaningful information about how your document or data are formatted, you're not giving yourself much chance of getting any help.
