Normal Style to No Spacing Style by default.

    Hi

Word is being a bit of a pain. I want to be able to open a file and automatically have No Spacing Style by default. Is this possible I have tried altering line spacing but this has no effect.

    Many thanks

    Try this:

    Open a new document
Click on the ‘expand’ arrow at the bottom right of the ‘Paragraph’ area of the ‘Home’ ribbon.
Change the settings for Spacing > After to ‘0’, and Line Spacing to ‘Single’
Click the ‘Default…’ button then click ‘Yes’

From now on your documents won’t include extra space between lines/paragraphs.
