    Mail Merge Currency change

    I have set up a mail merge pulling data from an excel file with a mixture of currencies.

    I have set up the merge so that is sorts by my clients name, then listing sub clients. Each of these sub clients has currency data that i would like to format depanding on what area it comes from ie Euro or Dollar.

    Each sub client will have a branch which will determine the currency.

    No matter what way i set the currency in excel it doesnt pull it across when merging data.

    **I am working to tight giudelines on layout and information content so any help would be greatly recieved.

    Re: Mail Merge Currency change

    You should be able to do this with field coding like:
    {IF{MERGEFIELD Branch}= "E*" "€" {IF{MERGEFIELD Branch}= "S*" "£" "$"}}{MERGEFIELD Gross \# "0.00" }

    Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created in the body of the document via Ctrl-F9 (Cmd-F9 on a Mac) - you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message.
