    Question Can I use Gray area behind the main page for small notes? (See picture)

    I have a wide screen monitor and I have plenty of Gray area as you can see from picture on right.

    I wonder if I can add some notes or text boxes there? (Just like I did from photoshop) Once I saw a guy using Adobe InDesign in which he could have such an option. He removes, adds pictures, formatting, important notes on right and these notes stay next to related page.

    So, does Word have such a feature? It would be so useful

    You could open another document and use View>View side-by-side.

    Thank you for reply. Seems that's not possible.
    Even powerpoint has such a flexibility :/
