Hi everyone,
I am having a little problem with using my macro in word.
Background: I have tables in documents that look similar to one below. There are pictures in one row and captions in the row below it. These tables can contain up to 40-60 pictures. The "Picture #" portion of caption is an automatic field which updates if you add or remove pictures.

I have a macro that would re-order the table if a picture is removed; lets say picture 2.

After I run the macro, the automatic fields turn into static text and won't update anymore. I have tried displaying the automatic field using "ALT+F9" and then running the macro but it still won't retain the field.

Problem: Automatic fields don't remain automatic after the macro is run. How do I approach this problem?
