Open folder macro opening wrong folder

From time to time my tried and trusty "Open folder" macro doesn't work correctly. I show two variations below, both of which have the same problem. The idea is to open the folder the active document is in. Most times the macro works fine, but sometimes, like for the last two days, it consistently opens the "My Documents" folder, when the document is in a remote folder that I have rights to. I'd appreciate it if someone can tell me what's going on.

My guess is that some network issue is causing this.
i.e. network drive path isn't available when the code runs, so it defaulted to Word's default path location (which is usually set to My Documents folder).

Has the document ever been saved?

Oh yes, all of these documents have been saved many times. Going to CK76 comment about network issues, I can see how that would interfere, but I don't see any issues with the drive. It's still very accessible.

And of course today everything is working as it should. Maybe it's Wednesdays that are at fault?
