Using VBA to enter given text and date to footer

I'm trying to use VBA to enter some given text followed by today's date into the footer of my Word page.

The VBA would open the footer , enter 'Today's date is - ' and then the date in dddd, dd MMMM yyyy format. It would then close the footer.

Can someone suggest some code to satisfy this?

Headers and footers are by section. If you just have one section in your document use this:
