Insert Semicolon and delete space in a list

Hello,

How can I get word to insert a semicolon after a list of numbers and delete the space in between to make a long continous list?

ie Copy this list from excel:

123456
123456
748979
498784

then make Word have it say

123456; 123456; 748979; 498784;

I'd do that myself but I can't tolerate it 2,200 times.
