Batch Doc to Pdf and email.

    Hi Everyone,

I have the task of converting 10,000 or so .doc files to .pdf and then emailing the .pdf file seperatly. It will be processed in 50-100 file lots and preferably be run before leaving at the end of the day. So im trying to look at a solution that requires no input the macro is run.

All files follow the same format of JobNumber.doc

And the email is required to follow the following format. 1 email per File.

    To: [email protected]
Subject: JobNumber <-(ie file name less extension)
    Body: Blank

I'm using the macro below to handle the doc to pdf conversion. I'd appreciate some assistance or advice on how to handle the email side of the project.

Althought not ideal i thought an option would be to import the file path of the converted folder contents to an excel document and then generate an email on a row by row basis.

Thanks for anybody who can help or point me in the right direction.

You could probably adapt the email mailmerge attachments code from here: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/...ttachments.htm
