    DTPicker

I have moved this from another forum as no-one seems to respond to anything in it...

I have a DTPicker in a userform. When the date is selected, even though it displays in the format ddMMMyy it copies to the document as dd/mm/yyyy.

Why is that and can it be changed?

Also, the date in the calender seems to default to the date it was inserted into the userform, is there any reason why it won't update to the current date when the userform is opened?

    Cheers,

    Mr.AndyE,

DTP picker is an activex control. We cannot able to change its format but there is one thing add one text box in the userform and try below code in Userform initialize event.

    When you say:

do you mean you have posted the same question in another forum? If so, you need to provide links to any and all other forums that you posted in, as per the Forum Rules.

I didn't respond there as I don't use the DtPicker and wasn't aware of what might be possible with it.

Please make sure you're aware of the following:

I'm afraid your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. Incidentally, the code the adjust the date format produced by the DTPicker is

Which codes for the date to be inserted at the cursor point, i.e. for example 25AUG12.
