Searching through a Word documents for specific words

    Hi,

I am working on a Word macro that will open all Word documents in a folder, search through each to find specific words and if those words are found in any of the Word documents, list the Word Document file name (or path) in an Excel spreadsheet. Any suggestions on how to do this? I was thinking of listing the specific words in another Excel spreadsheet or Word document to be checked against.

    Thanks.

For a Word macro to search the current Word document for words listed in an Excel workbook, see: http://www.excelforum.com/word-forma...e-in-word.html
Looping through all Word documents in a folder and reporting the found words back to an Excel workbook would require considerably more code.
