Where more than 1 line exists in excel transfer - insert line in word report bookmark

    Hello,

I have a report that is generated from pushed date from excel. This works wonderfully. However, it only picks up the first line in the report, and not the 2, 3 or 4th line that may be available.

How do I get my report (bookmarked areas) to add a row if there is an additional line of data that needs to be pushed into the bookmark area?

I've attached both the spreadsheet - with the example in NCR 45, and the report this needs to be pushed into.

    Thanks

Add a row in what sense? Create a new row to the table, or just pick up the extra entries and add them to new lines within the existing cell(s)?

OH sorry, I missed this response. Yes Paul - add a new row to the table (range) and populate with the pushed data from excel.

From looking at your table, I'm not sure either approach is to be recommended. Given that you're asking the report recipients to respond to the items therein, surely it would be better to have a report for each item separately? That way, it will be readily apparent to the recipients as to what each comment in the report relates and, for the person evaluating the responses, to what each response relates. Conversely, when I look at your 'Transfer' sheet, it seems the data are missing from most columns. Is that a true reflection of the state of play when these reports are produced?
