Controlling Word Using Late Binding

I am having compatibility issues with Excel reference libraries and am trying to make some code work with Late binding.

I am specifically having problems with running the Word Macro from Excel ("Document_Open") - the macropod marvel macro which converts linked fields to the current directory


Any help would be appreciated.
